I had been searching around for a service company in my area to repair and service my domestic ventilation system. When I called Batchelors, they were extremely helpful and took the time to understand my requirements. A home visit was arranged quickly and today Ryan attended my site to look at the ventilator unit and repair it. The cause of the fault was found to be damaged contacts on the circuit board - something he found quickly and easily. Ryan demonstrated the problem to me and explained the options to get the unit back up and running.
At all times I was treated as a valued customer. At all times he was professional and meticulous in his approach to the job. I am extremely satisfied with the work carried out today and am very happy to recommend Batchelors to others.

Had a service which I pay annually and a few weeks after last one which by the way the Engineer left dust everywhere I used A/C and water was spitting out from unit. I called Batchelor and they said they would charge for a call-out, I remonstrated as I had used first time since service so they agreed not to charge. Engineer came out and said it was due to the setting being too low and said it had to be 21C or higher, never heard of that before!
Then he left and I was sent an invoice for over 120. I complained and after a lot of arguing they agreed to drop the charge and they also agreed to cancel the rest of my contract. Five days later I used A/C again and at 21C but it still leaks water everywhere so last Engineer didn't fix - not a good result and wouldn't recommend! I would like to add after the response I saw that that the company said the A/C units were working overtime.
This was not the fact, the unit had been used for 2 hours since the service and it was and still is dripping water at 21C - how can that be overworking? Also it was a fact the Service Engineer did leave a mess with dust all around the table below the unit. Surely if you do this you use a dust sheet? I asked them to cancel my maintenance contract and refund all monies as they were so poor, they refused at first but backtracked as soon as I said I would take them to court.
I have a friend who currently has a major contract with this company and when I told him what happened he wasn't surprised and said that they were looking for another company to do all their A/C as this one was so poor since the original owner left - I certainly wouldn't recommend!

I contacted BAC after being continuously let down by a different service provider who was forever blaming Brexit or Covid for their shoddy workmanship or for not turning up on the day they were booked. I was very happy with BACs service of the AC and there was no mess afterwards. I could not find anything to complain about. The engineer was friendly, polite and just got on with the job too.
