Since Cooltherm started in 1992 a lot has been achieved and changed, here follows a brief history of our time. Cooltherm was founded in 1992 in Bristol by Ken Strong and Peter Kent, both individuals had significant experience in the field of air conditioning chillers which was developed whilst working for companies including Carrier, McQuay, Westinghouse and York.
The company originally specialized in the supply, installation and maintenance of large scale McQuay centrifugal chillers to clients including the government with one of our early notable projects being the provision of 8+mW of cooling for the original GCHQ complex in Cheltenham.

Awful, immoral, uncaring company. One of their drivers knocked over a family pet and didn't even stop to see that he was alright. On contacting the company, they will not accept any responsibility at all and haven't even offered to pay for the vets bills (which are over 2.5k). If they can behave in this way then they are not a company to do business with. Appalling behaviour.

There is only one star as I couldn't leave a review otherwise. This firm has no sense of moral responsibility. One of their drivers hit a much loved family dog with his van and drove off leaving the dog called Pooch seriously injured. Only the brilliance of a specialist vet saved Pooch and his family are now left with a bill rapidly approaching 2500. The firm cool therm refuses to help in any way with the bills, and is refusing to take any responsibility for its drivers actions. Shame on you Cool Therm UK
