You should choose a hepa type air purifier, but it MUST also have a carbon filter. Carbon is the only thing that will adsorb the smell of the tobacco. As a general rule the more carbon in the filter the better the tobacco smoke removal. We are very pleased with the 2 units we purchased. They have made an enormous difference in the air quality in our new home c 1905. Previous owners had 2 dogs which left a strong doggy smell as well as abundance if hair to which two of Ghent family are allergic.

I recently purchased the lofty remcon home ventilation system, I was very pleased with the price. Everyone is very friendly and helpful answering all my questions and concerns. The unit was very easy to install and ready to use in an hour. The unit has stopped all the condensation and is filling the house with nice clean air.
