Air-care-Automotive Not only does it keep you cool in the summer months, it also dehumidifies the interior air throughout the year and so removes moisture whilst filtering airborne pollutants such as dust, pollen and diesel particles. Your air conditioning system is the biggest contributor in maintaining a pleasant and comfortable interior climate whenever your car is in use.

Air conditioning systems need to be operated for 10 to 15 minutes a week to prevent the flexible pipe work and '0' ring seals from drying out and allowing the refrigerant to escape.
Services
To ensure you maintain the benefits of a correctly functioning system Air Care recommends your system is inspected annually. As the owner of a vehicle fitted with air conditioning, you will appreciate the many benefits of a correctly functioning system; sitting in traffic jams or travelling at high speeds, with the windows closed, makes for a comfortable and safer journey in any situation. Vehicle air conditioning should be run once a week to prevent seals drying out and serviced annually to check for leaks.
Our System Inspection and Report Service offers you a detailed written report on the state of the air conditioning system and an estimate of the costs of any remedial work. This service includes Refrigerant Quality Analysis with Printout; Static and Operating Pressure measurements; In-Car Temperature Analysis with printouts.
This service involves the use of a special UV dye injected into the system during the Recharge procedure. This test is particularly useful when trying to detect leaks in the internal (under dash) evaporator unit. It is the most reliable way of determining a problem with this major part, without spending hours (at great cost) to remove an evaporator only to find it is not at fault.
Where a leak test shows up a very small leak it may be possible to fix this type of leak without replacing a part or making a repair to that part. This sealant is specially formulated for Air Conditioning systems, both old and new, to seal existing leaks, and remains in the system to seal any future leaks.
